Some people wear things on their face they don’t have to. A good blackhead remover can get rid of those ugly blemishes on our face. These products aren’t that expensive either. One of the store bought products or a product selling online is one of the best ways to get rid of blackheads. They may be some homemade remedies online for removing blackheads and acne too. I don’t know of any right off the bat; nor have I tried any that have worked in the past. I think everyone with blackheads should just make a quick trip to the drug store and take care of blackheads immediately. No one should be walking around with black heads on their face!

Hawking Guest Stars on The Simpsons

I’m not sure if the man has been talking too long to Homer or Bart, but he does have a dire message for humans living on this planet we know as Earth. Stephen Hawking the genius has stated in a recent TV show that aired on the Discovery Chanel Sunday night, that humans better not make friends with the aliens when they arrive. He compared their desire to take over and use our resources to the days of Christopher Columbus and how things didn’t fare too well for the natives living in North America.

I’m not sure what Hawking would suggest if a human actually met an alien on this planet. It sounds like he would take the “shoot first and ask questions later” approach. We use to have no laws on the books about harming aliens, but in recent years, we have seen 104,536,024 people from Mexico and Guatemala cross over our borders. We now have laws that do protect aliens and they are allowed to work and live in this country and not have to pay taxes. Perhaps our small minds, compared to Stephen’s big mind, he was referring to the illegal aliens in America right now. How we should not make friends with them. I guess this does make sense, due to the fact they get free medical care in the United States, yet don’t pay taxes.

One of the smartest men in the world is warning us to not associate or be friends with the illegal aliens in America right now. These words should be remembered for those that give housing and jobs to people that weren’t born on this planet. Have you did your part? Or did you go against Hawking’s warning to stay away from the aliens? It doesn’t take a modern day genius to see whose using up the resources around here. Let’s hope over-paid politicians will watch the Discovery channel and see Stephen Hawking warning us about alien life forms that probably work in the convenience store in your hometown. Oh wait, wrong aliens, I said “work”, no I think the ones Hawking was referring to was the ones that don’t work!

One of the most impressive car companies in today’s market has to be Hyundai. They have continued to reinvent their look and cars and now have put themselves in a position to challenge the big market share leaders in Honda and Toyota. While Toyota is having to deal with PR issues relating to their brakes in several models, Hyundai continues to roll out new and exciting models. I was impressed with the new Hyundai Sonata that has been launched this year with the sleek aero-dynamic look. The one thing about Hyundai’s in the past is that there cars were a bit more square and lacked some of the more finishing touches of their direct competition, but now all that is changing. When you see this car coming down the road you have to stop and stare to figure what care you are looking at. It gives the appearance of a German luxury sedan but at half the cost.

The paint job used on the New Hyundai Sonata has been given better quality accolades than a Mercedes. The car boasts a 33 MPG highway mileage and with an I-4 and V-6 engine available you can now have broader options to choose the car that will suit your needs. I was watching the 100 Greatest Rock Songs of all time on one of the music channels yesterday. One of the songs to make the top 100 list was a Joan Jett song. She got a lot of praise for being herself and creating her own style of rock n’ roll tunes. Her appearance was another thing many of the critics pointed out. She is over 50 years old and looks as good today as she did 25 years ago. Her complexion is so clear and I can only imagine the amount of acne face cream she used while growing up. Whatever her beauty secrets are, they have certainly been working for over a half of a century now. Her different hair styles have changed a lot over the years. That pretty facial complexion that she still sports around today hasn’t changed a bit. She could become famous all over again, if she ever decided to release her beauty secrets. I know her fans would be lining up by the hundreds, to get these beauty secrets from a hard rocker like Joan Jett from the Blackhearts.

A song made in the 21st century is likely to not have the musical instruments we normally think of songs having. A lot of prerecorded sounds and computer technology plays a role in these songs of today. This wasn’t the case a couple of decades back; when music listeners could pick out each instrument in a song. If you could get your ears passed the lead vocals, you could hear a guitar being played, along with a base, keyboard, piano,  and drums. These were the typical instruments most songs had in them. Soon our ears would hear electronics taking over for vocals and the rest of the musical instruments most bands would use to compose music.

A song on the radio today has changed a lot. Computers and technology has played a role in this. I’m not saying its a turn for the worse and music is not as good today. I’m just saying it’s different and a musical genius now would need a few basic computer skills, to obtain the sounds being played over the radio air waves now. I look forward to seeing a singer or band take a stand against musical technology and release songs that only have the basics. A lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, and a set of drums is the only 4 pieces a band really needs to make good music. A piano or keyboard is a nice touch too. Leaving out the musical sounds a computer creates, is a way for artists to bring back the tunes of yesterday.

Being a single guy today with no kids, never been married and doesn’t have a girlfriend is pretty hard to find. It isn’t for me, because I just happen to be that guy. Now I have always thought that I would get married and have kids and do all the normal things a family man does. It just hasn’t worked out for me yet and now as I am in my mid 20′s; the time to start settling down  and finding that special one is becoming a top priority.

I have noticed that the women just get better looking all the time. Maybe the fashion and shoulder bags and fashionable shoes are starting to really make a statement.   I know I have been too picky over the years and that’s one big reason I’m still single right now. I have a hard time just going out on a date with a girl if I don’t think she is marriage material. Might sound strange, but now every time I see a girl giving me a stare or a smile, my first thought is “could I marry this girl”? Another problem I might have, is actually giving my eyes the time to stare at all the attractive moms-to-be and not looking for the women that might actually be single! Oh well, I will continue my path down single life for now, but there just has to be someone for me in this over-crowded world we live in.

Most of us are aware of technology and have witnessed at least one thing where tech has made our lives easier. America has a very violent past and technology was one one of the reasons to blame for this violence. We can also give credit to technology for ending the violent times. As we keep moving toward the future; the technology never stops. Always a way to do something better and tech always finds out what that ways is. Each year we have a new layer of technology that we either use or discover for the first time. All of these layers just keeps growing and nothing is ever taken away. It’s amazing to think, what holes can get filled-in and what revolutionary changes will we see first.

I thought about that and our aging process was one of the first things that came to my mind. Since aging is a chemical process that occurs inside the body, it is possible to develop a formula to prevent us from ever aging again. Or at least slowing it down for us to see 1000 years of the world instead of the 100 we have to live for now. I don’t know if any government would release a formula like this, but I would guess these holes will be filled-in over the next 25 to 50 years.

One thing I believe we will see in the next 5 to 10 years is a diet plan that’s impossible to fail. A lot of time, energy, and money is being spent now to get Americans more in shape. Researchers in this field are being funded very well and a lot of new discoveries are being found. Many of these are associated with our weight and people that are under 50 years old now and overweight; will more than likely get to see and use these weight loss break-throughs. Can you imagine the feeling we will all have, when we go to the drug store to buy a weight loss supplement and they will all work. If you look hard enough in 2010; you can already find diet pills that work, but the future and our FDA (Food & Drug Administration) will probably remove the poor-performing pills from the shelf. No more guessing which one is best, because all dieting products will work.

Are you ready for the future? Just don’t try to stop technology, because people have lost their life trying to slow it down and keep it from happening. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad technology, its going to make it here and in our lives with or without your help. Life’s too short for fighting these tech battles and we will be much happier, if we just accept these new modern changes. I really didn’t realize how many famous people or stars on TV that all share a pretty common name. When you hear the name “Larry” who do you think of first? For me, it would be Larry Bird from the Boston Celtics and now has a front office job with the Indiana Pacers NBA team. I am a big NBA fan, so my mind goes north and chooses the #33 as the first person that comes to my mind; once I hear the name Larry. From there it’s pretty wide open, because I have thought of about 10 different people that have the name Larry. I can’t give you a true or honest answer on which person I think of after Larry Bird, because so many good ones come rushing-in to my head.

A Larry that has been on my mind recently is the Larry that has his own country diner on the RFD-TV Network. This would be Larry’s Country Diner and for me, I would have to add him in on one of my top 10 Larry’s and you really got to tune in one day and catch Larry’s Country Diner. This is one of the cleanest TV shows on today and it has a good gospel and family atmosphere. Another TV Larry that comes to mind from the decade of the 80′s would be the Larry on the Bob NewHart Show. I don’t think anyone could forget this funny Larry that had the two brothers. The famous skit that would appear on most Newhart Shows went like this: “Hi, my name is Larry. This is my brother Daryl. And this is my other brother Daryl.” That was the whole line this funny Larry from the 1980′s would do nightly; while co-starring with his 2 Darryl brothers on the Bob Newhart Show. You don’t see many TV shows claiming to be in the state of Vermont and this did seem like the perfect U.S. State to choose; while looking for a place to own a bed and breakfast.

There is really no shortage of funny Larry’s and I got two more in mind that has made us all laugh at one time or another. The first one would be way back in the black and white television days. This Larry was also in a grouping of 3 men, but not just any men, probably the most famous trio of men in history. Yes, the 3 Stooges were huge back in their day and continue to be huge for the rest of the 20th century. It seems those guys have slipped a little and hard to find them on TV now, but when we do get a chance to see them, we know the one named Larry from the 3 Stooges will be one of our top Larry vote getter’s for this Larry Contest. However, what on Earth would we do if we didn’t include this over-sized hillbilly in on our favorite Larry of all time contest. This Larry is usually running around Hollywood these days trying to make movies, just whatever you do, don’t let him work on your cable! That’s right, let’s go ahead and add Larry the Cable Guy to our Larry contest and see how this brainless wad of nothing does in a contest for simply having the same name as so many other famous people. Now that I think about it, I believe Larry the Cable Guy might just be the toughest one to beat? If he ever was going to win a contest in his life, this would certainly be one that he might have the skills to win. We will have to see how the votes come in on this Larry contest to find the greatest Larry of all time.

If you currently have a blog now, I would like to know why and what was it that made you decide to start blogging? I know some people wanted to have an online diary and a blog is a great way to keep track of your life and the daily events that happen to you each day. While some bloggers created a blog to draw attention to a worthy cause and will blog mainly about a specific charity or some topic they want to shine more light on. You also have the blogs that got created for marketing purposes and a blog is a great way to promote or advertise online.

Most of your older blogs that date back 5 years or more, came from people that had a unique or orginal idea on what to blog about. Also, the people that are talented writers created blogs to show off their writing talents. Most of your newer blogs were started with other purposes in mind. Perhaps to make money with or just for a specific marketing purpose. A lot of books are available to teach bloggers how to earn money from their blog. One example is to sell links in the sidebar and some advertisers will pay big money for those blogs that have a PR (page rank) with Google. These rankings go from 0 to 10 and the higher your blog is, the more potential money you could be earning from your blog. My blog here has a ranking of PR3; which is pretty good when I compare it to my fellow bloggers. Most of my friends that blog online will rank around 1 or 2 with Google. I don’t believe any of them have a PR3 blog yet. I believe in time Google will recognize their blogging talents and give them a better page rank. The other big ranking system online for bloggers is the Alexa Rankings. You want a low score with Alexa and the lower number you have, the better your score is with them. I don’t really like Alexa, due to the fact Internet users have to have the Alexa toolbar installed on their computer, to be counted over at Alexa. Do you remember playing Pitfall as a kid? I grew up in the 80′s and video games were big back then. The video game technology was just beginning to take shape and the video games back then don’t compare to the games of today. Pac Man was the first big game in the modern generation. It all began with Pong, but it was Pac Man that put video games on the map. After Pac Man made his splash to kids all over America; there was a long line of video games that followed. A couple of the more successful games were Donkey Kong and Frogger. Both of these games were fun and this was the same time that Pitfall made its way into living rooms all across the country.

Pitfall is a simple game and fun to play. The graphics were good compared to many of the other games on the marketplace back then. I never was a Pitfall expert and probably made it as far as 5 or 6 boards into the game. I’m not sure if Pitfall has an ending point or not. Maybe someone out there can let me know if there was a way to win the game. I just know most people liked Pitfall, since it was easy to get pass the first couple of obstacles. I played Pitfall on the Atari 2600 and this was the first version of Atari. The 2nd version that came out was the Atari 5200. I never owned this model of Atari, but did get to go over to friend’s houses and play a few games on the 5200 from Atari.

I don’t see how the car insurance companies could ever lose money. They charge a certain rate for their customers and if they don’t ever have a wreck or make a claim, they will lower the rates slightly. It’s amazing how our brains record the things we smell. Some things don’t need to be recorded and we know on our own if something smells real good or smells real bad.
