There are a variety of different rain boots online consumers can shop for. You can find these all-weather footwear products on a lot of different online websites. I believe the ladies would enjoy shopping online for some of these stylish rain boots that are available just for them. We normally don’t think of female shoppers looking for women’s rain boots online. I believe its due to the fact a lot of women don’t realize just how fashionable some of these boots are. No one ever buys an umbrella when it’s not raining outside. The ones who do choose to get an umbrella on a bright, sunny day are glad they made the purchase, when the wet stuff does begin to fall outside. I believe the same is true for rain boots. No one really wants to shop online for boots that were made to keep your feet dry during a rain storm. For all of those women that do choose to shop for rain boots; while the sun is shinning, will be happy and more than willing to go out, the next time Mother Nature decides to give us a few drops of rain. This is just the practical reason and why these rain boots were made. I believe women will want to wear these stylish rain boots during the pretty days too, since a lot of these boots are so stylish for women. If you’re a sports nut like me, you probably tuned in to one of the sports drafts for hockey or basketball recently, if not both of them. I love the NBA and basketball is probably my favorite sport. I love football too, but the season is so short in football, so we crave football more and get to actually watch the other sport teams a lot more. I was happy with my favorite NBA team on draft day in the National Basketball Association. I know my hockey team made a big trade right before the draft and I saw they gave up their number 1 draft pick. So I wasn’t too excited about the NHL draft, but after reading my email today, I saw my team did draft the 8th overall player in the National Hockey League draft. I’m a little confused on how they got that pick and my favorite hockey team, must of had 2 first round draft picks and they traded away the worse of the two. Unless they made a draft day trade for a first round pick, but surely my email would have said something about that.

The hockey draft has more rounds and most of these guys I don’t even know. So it’s very hard to root for hockey players, because someone living in the Southern United States, doesn’t get a chance to see much hockey, unless it is our pro team here from the NHL. While the NBA is much different and we have a lot of college basketball we can watch in the States and most of the future NBA stars of tomorrow, do play for a college team that gets a lot of TV time. You can actually be a scout for the NBA, with the amount of college basketball we get to see in America. I have seen most of the first round guys from the NBA draft on Thursday play. I have a good idea on which teams in basketball made good draft picks and which ones did not. I just have to hope my NHL team knows their stuff and trust in the scouting they did before the draft took place in hockey.

I really like the player my NBA team received in the 2010 NBA draft. I didn’t even know my NHL team had a first round pick, so to learn we got the 8th guy in the NHL draft, that gets me a little excited to see him play next year. The NHL season does begin before the NBA season, so I will get a chance to see my hockey draft pick play (if he makes the big club) first. It will be early November, before I get to see the college basketball star my team took in the NBA draft. I have a lot to look forward to this fall and will have my baseball team and football to keep me company; while I wait for the NHL and NBA seasons to start up.

As a kid I always loved getting mail. I would look through magazines and find things that were free and sign up for them. No matter what it was, I just like getting free stuff and especially when it arrived in the mailbox. When we get older, we don’t like that mail that much. I guess this is because we get so many bills in the mail now. It seems there is always someone wanting to collect money from me in some form or fashion. However, if it’s not a letter and comes in a box through the mail, I still love those packages. It’s much like it was when I was a child getting mail, I love seeing what a package might contain inside of it. I get so anxious to see what is inside it, I just try ripping it open without using a box cutter or a knife. Sometimes I can’t get these mail packages opened and I do have to grab a knife or a pair of scissors to help gain entry. No one really sends me surprise packages, so most of the time I already know what’s inside the box. Even if I do know what’s inside, I still like to open it up and see if there is anything unexpected in my packages. Do you share my love for opening packages sent through the mail?

The last package I got was from the state of Indiana. I knew what was inside of it, because just a few days earlier, I had won a auction item off of eBay. It was a gold pan and this was my first gold pan ever. I had been wanting a gold pan for a long time, so I was excited to finally get one. I was hoping the sender was going to include a few samples of gold in my package that day, but no such luck. There were some papers inside and a magazine for other gold related items this person was selling from Indiana. I know a lot of people do like to bid and buy things off of eBay. I believe one of the thrills these online shoppers get, is opening their items from the packages they find in their mailboxes. If I ever get enough money up to buy a lot of things online, I will be sure to keep a box cutter handy for when all of my packages do arrive in the mail.

I hope all of the dads out there had a great Fathers Day on Sunday. I’m just an uncle and not a daddy yet. My day started off with a couple of great movies I watched on the Movie Channel. One was called Bad Company and it was a movie from 1972; which was the same year I was born. I know most men born in this year already have their own families and lots of kids running around. So the men my age are mostly dads and I am an exception to the rule. The other movie was called Scorched and it was about a bank in the desert and how several employees all working at that bank robbed it at the same time. It was pretty funny and a little silly, but still a good Sunday morning movie. The afternoon on Fathers Day called for a little baseball, as I watched my Atlanta Braves finish off a 3 game sweep of the Kansas City Royals. After that, I came to the computer and spent most of the evening doing my computer stuff. I enjoyed my day today and I hope all of the fathers out there enjoyed their day too.

I know it takes a special ingredient to be a good dad. A lot of kids out there from the very young to the very old really appreciate what their dads do every day for them. Most of us don’t know what our dad’s felt like when they found out we were going to be born one day soon. I believe all the really good dads were excited about the news, when they found out they were going to be a father. I could see them handing out cigars at the hospitals on our delivery day and they probably sent a lot of baby announcements after we were born. I know this sounds like a mom’s job, but some dads probably let mom rest and would send out the announcements for her. Just like that special Sunday we have for our moms on Mothers Day, I think the Sunday for dads on Fathers Day is just as important. Cheers to all of the great dads out there!

For those who have children and haven’t been a dad since their kids were born yet. Still have time to play the role of dad and you will want to do this as soon as you can, so you can fulfill your duties as the man of the house or just for the person we know as daddy. Thanks men!

The BP Oil Spill is a lot like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going and going and going. No one knows when the oil leak will stop in the salty waters, where the leak is said to be more than a mile deep in the Gulf of Mexico. I really feel bad for those residents that live in the border states to the Gulf region. I’m sure there are big concerns for those that live on the Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida coast lines. All of these beaches are in danger of the tar balls that have already washed up on some beaches in the U.S. States.

I really like to hear Anderson Cooper from CNN reporting on this oil crisis in the Gulf of Mexico. He really has a way with his words and Anderson is not letting BP get away with this disaster in the Gulf that has already killed 11 BP workers from the initial blast that started the whole thing 2 months ago. If you feel BP is not holding up to their end of things and should be doing more for the families of those workers who lost their lives and for the residents in the southern states who are close to the oil spill, you should watch CNN. One of the best reporters on TV today is Anderson Cooper and he’s always been brave, when he has had to cover the hurricanes in the Gulf and Atlantic states. Now his bravery is once again focused in the Gulf and this time he’s reporting on the actions or lack of actions from the British Petroleum or BP company. I guess we can call this Hurricane BP and you can bet Anderson Cooper will keep America and the rest of the world up to date on this oil tycoon’s hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico.

Have you had a chance to watch 360 with Anderson Cooper on CNN? I didn’t watch his show in the early days of this oil crisis in the Gulf. I would have like to known his tone of voice back then, but I have certainly been catching his show on CNN lately. Mr. Cooper from CNN is a hero for everyone out there that fears the worse will continue to happen with the BP oil spill. This oily mess that has affected the lives of millions of people now, since it has lasted over 2 months, is what Anderson Cooper is staying on top of right now. He has taken a strong tone of voice to the people running the oil company BP. Anderson has reported that BP refuses to come on his show anymore or to return his phone calls. The BP company is trying to bury their heads in the sand and CNN and Anderson Cooper won’t let them. If these guys would bury their head on a beach in the panhandle of Florida, Alabama, or Mississippi right now, they would probably come up with a mouthful of oil tar.

BP has failed in so many ways and it’s only going to get worse for them. They are hoping to work with President Barack Obama on this crisis, but little do the know, Mr. Obama has his own problems and hands full with his unpopular presidency right now. While Americans are regreting the fact they voted in a Democrat for President, you can bet the Republican party will be smiling in 2012. Since Obama is in no hurry to clean up the oil mess in the Gulf, since this does take all of the attention off of him right now, this has only hurt the folks from BP even more. They should have stepped up at the beginning and took full blame and did everything in their power to fix this ecological nightmare in the World’s most abundant place for fresh seafood. Instead, they waited on the American politics and an American President that is only concerned about saving his own reputation. People like Anderson Cooper, who has exposed multiple cover ups by the guys from BP is going to be the nail in the coffin for this huge oil company. BP will not survive the oil leak and they might have already knew this and why they’re still cutting corners on the clean up efforts in the Gulf of Mexico.

The BP stock did look like an attractive buy, since it had fell so much, but the company BP will be ending all operations in the United States and World Wide, since it doesn’t have enough money to fix the oil leak and repair all the lives of the people who have been affected by this big mess in our waters. Remember where you heard it first, and I will repeat my words. BP is no longer operational, because they can’t afford to pay for all the costs this oil spill has caused. BP is bankrupt and will be broken down and sold off in pieces to other oil companies. The gas stations that use to sport the Amoco signs, but no longer do, since BP took over, may be a possibility, but the green and yellow BP signs won’t be around much longer at your gas stations in your hometowns. BP is finished and this is the end of the story.

Some people are really smart when it comes to computers and other tech gadgets. I spend a lot of time on my computer, but if it doesn’t come on, when I turn it on, then I am clueless on how to fix it. Much like a car, if I mash the gas pedal and the car doesn’t go, then I won’t be going any where that day. I’m amazed at how some computer geniuses can build and customized their own computer systems. I have seen these guys work before and they will custom-design and make everything they need for their own personal computers. I mean right down to the custom usb drives they can build from scratch (or it seems); when they decide to build their self a computer or build it for someone else.

Even if I had a computer builder next to me now, I don’t know enough of the language to tell him or her how to build a computer system that would be perfect for me. Speed is very important to me, so I would want a fast computer. I don’t use most of the preloaded programs on a computer that you normally get, when you buy it new from a computer store. I guess I could tell the computer designer to not add in all of those programs I don’t ever use.

I’m not good with all of the virus protection and spyware removers a computer needs in the 21st century either. I would ask the person building my computer to install a good virus program, so I could stay protected online. I also need an adware, spyware, trojans, and hijackers program or remover, which could take these things off of my newly designed computer system. I guess after those few small requests, I would be lost on any further instructions to give. I know I have a lot of memory I don’t use now and using up the computer memory does slow down a computer. I could increase my memory even more, if I had someone to design a PC system just for me. Maybe one day I will have the extra money to get a custom-designed computer made and I can find a person that could build me a system that would fit my every need online. How about you? It appears the National League will have Jason Heyward of the Atlanta Braves in their starting outfield for the 2010 All Star Game. This year’s All Star Game will be in Anaheim and baseball fans are eager to see Jason play, as they keep piling on the votes for him in the All Star voting.

Many have heard by now the Nationals star pitcher Stephen Strasburg or the Florida Marlins rookie sensation Mike Stanton. Both of these rookies have recently been called up and are now making positive strides in the Majors. Their talents fail to compare to what Jason Heyward brings to the game of baseball each night in Atlanta and for the National League. He was too good to keep in the minors and made the team from the Spring Training games in Florida. If you want to see one of the best rookies ever and you can watch him July 13th in the All Star Game, just place a vote for Jason Heyward on your Allstar Ballots. You won’t regret your vote and he will put on a show in the All Star Game and hopefully we will get to see hin swinging in the Century 21 Home Run Derby in Anaheim. The HR Derby will take place on the Monday night, before the Tuesday night All Star Game. The best sluggers from the National and American League will each have 3 or 4 guys representing them in the Homerun Derby.

When you go to a fast food restaurant and place your order in the drive-thru, there is room for error. Since we do have humans punching-in your order, it may not be correct when you get it. I have even seen sometimes, where the price on the board outside, doesn’t match up with the price they’re charging at the pay window. You know the cash register has been programmed to charge a certain amount, so chances are the sign outside needs to be updated.

It’s a little different in the grocery stores and it’s getting harder and harder to see what their prices are for certain food items. I guess they don’t feel like they need a price on each item, since the cashier uses a barcode scanner to get your grocery bill total. This isn’t just one grocery store, but I see this in a lot of grocery stores, where the cashier relies on tech gadgets for the prices. It can be difficult for us (the customers) to determine our budget in the store, when each item doesn’t have a price on it.

I remember in the old days where you could find an individual price tag on each individual item in a store. The big chains have tried to reduce costs and now just use one shelf price to show customers the prices, but if this shelf price goes missing, it can be difficult to determine what the price is. Back in the old days, if a price was missing on one food item, we could just pick up another one, to see what the price was for it. This isn’t the case anymore with the shelf pricing we see in most grocery or department stores. I do like the stores that put the barcode scanners in the aisles, so customers can scan their own items before they take them to the check-out line. As long as there is one nearby and you don’t have to walk a country mile to find one. I believe if stores want to stick with their shelf pricing techniques, they are going to have to provide customers with the same scanners they give to their cashiers.

How many restaurants can be found in the city you live in now? I couldn’t count all of the restaurants in my town of North Georgia. I will guess there is about 60 different places to choose from. Some of the competition can get tough in a certain city in America. These fast food companies will do all they can to get your business. I have found I can eat cheaper and better, if I will just go through the drive-thru windows and eat at the fast food restaurants.

Do you know which fast food restaurant has the most locations in America? I know you probably just guessed a few of the popular burger places, but you can add up all of the hamburger restaurants in America and there is still more Chinese Restaurants than all of the others combined. I thought that was pretty fascinating and we do have several chinese restaurants in my local area.

The typical fast food restaurants offer a poor diet for those (like me) who eat it regularly. The Chinese food and the Japanese food is a better choice for nutritional value. If you eat at the other American fast food places, you better have a good supply of weight loss products. The typical fast food items are loaded with calories and carbohydrates; that do add the extra pounds to our bodies. If you search for the salads and health foods, you can eat a healthy meal at these places.

While the TV ads continue to be geared toward a rival fast food company, the Asian restaurants are keeping their noses clean. They do little advertising, they offer delivery in some cases, and have quietly taken over the fast food industry in America. The food at a Chinese restaurant, does offer more nutrition and less of a chance for weight gain. The hibachi dinners in the Japanese restaurants are very healthy and the best Asian food you can eat.

How Do You Like Your Waffle House Hash Browns?

The hash browns that get served at Waffle House 24 hours a day and 7 days a week are 2nd to none. I love their hash browns and there is a lot of ways you can get them. Here is some of the Waffle House lingo, you will need to learn, before you order your hashbrowns:

Scattered – Spread Over the Grill

Smothered – Onions

Covered – Cheese

Chunked – Ham

Diced – Tomatoes

Peppered – Jalapeno Peppers

Capped – Mushrooms

Topped – Bert’s Chili

These are the popular terms the Waffle House waitress will bark out to the cook, so they can make your hashbrowns the way you want them. It’s really good to get your hashbrowns “all the way” and this comes with everything. I have never tried their sausage gravy before. This is a new menu item for them, but I don’t think I would want gravy on my hash browns, if I ordered them all the way.

Waffle House got their start in my state of Georgia. You can now find a Waffle House in almost every state. I’m pretty sure they will be in every state before it is over with. While their hash browns do get a lot of attention, these guys do make a very good waffle. I guess if you’re going to use the word “waffle” in the title of your restaurant, you better be able to deliver a good-tasting waffle. Their regular waffles are excellent and it’s a great treat for someone that has a sweet tooth. The Waffle House restaurants do offer some other types of waffles like the pecan waffle. You can try some of these other waffles too, but their plain waffle is really good.

Waffle House has a large menu of food items You can order a steak, a hamburger, pork chops, or go with a big piece of country ham served with other breakfast items like eggs, hash browns, grits, and toast. You can get wheat toast, white toast, or a delicious raisin toast they serve at the Waffle House. You can even order a chicken sandwich at the Waffle House! They don’t offer fries, so if you get the hamburger, you do have to eat it with hashbrowns. You can order the dinner items for breakfast or eat a big breakfast plate during the day or night. These guys will serve you anything on their menu and at anytime. I love the fact, the Waffle House will stay open 24 hours a day and they even stay open 365 days a year. You can walk into a Waffle House on Christmas, Thanksgiving, or any other holiday and get your scattered, smothered, and covered items served to you!

A woman can spend a lot of time reading about all the differences in men and women. She can learn how our bodies are different and how each one needs a different daily nutritional value than the other one. You can just look at the vitamins for women and see how each one is very different from the vitamins for men.

One great way to insure nutrition is to eat a variety of foods. Don’t eat too much of the same foods. Over a long period of time, no matter how good the nutritional value is, this can cause health problems. Eating the same foods over and over will create an unbalanced diet. You can avoid this by eating new foods each day. It really doesn’t matter what you do eat. If you will just get in the habit of eating different foods, you will be getting a balanced diet and not even know it. The body needs many essential vitamins and minerals from the foods we eat each day. The body can produce some things naturally, but other things can only come in the form of food. A woman really needs to eat a bigger variety of foods than the men do. A lot of the newer medical news points out things like osteoporosis in women and breast cancer. Even though men can get breast cancer too, a woman is much more likely to get this form of cancer. This is only 2 of the things in the last couple of decades the doctors have tried to focus more on.

If you’re a woman seeking a highly nutritional meal. You will just have to wait. There is no one meal that is going to make you super woman. The good and balanced meals for women are obtained over a long period of time. In which they will eat several different foods each day. It is a good idea for older women to start taking vitamins. A good vitamin for women can help to curve off the dieseases and sickness a woman will develop as she gets older. All women need to find a vitamin just for them and make sure to eat the biggest variety of foods in your household. All of these little things now; can lead to a long and prosperous life.

Online Programs to Avoid

Some online programs should always be avoided. I know there are some of these that work, but it isn’t the way you want to earn your money online. There are much better ways than some of these online programs, that have so many people promoting them right now.

If you see a program that has a page and it’s only 1 page, but a mile long. You want to avoid these programs! The long referral page that offers so much information, but yet it really never tells you what to do to earn all of this money. These pages usually have a few nice cars or homes on them. A picture of cash or someone holding a lot of money. The long referral page programs don’t work. You may make a few bucks off of them, because other people made the same mistake as you and joined up behind you. There is no long term money to be made with these programs. They’re hard to promote online and I have found much better ways to earn a buck online.

If you have to read more than 200 words to understand what it is you do or how to earn your money; then chances are it’s not a good program. A program that really works and is honest, usually can sum up everything in 200 words or less. I know some programs will force you to read over 1000 words and you still don’t know what you need to do to earn money or how much you will start off making. These programs that don’t work will freely tell you the amounts you can make up to, but leave out a lot of important steps along the way. If you need to leave your name and email address to get more information, just save yourself some time and don’t bother.

A good program that works will want to tell you everything fast or while they have your attention. They aren’t going to chance losing you, by asking for your name and email address. They will explain the nuts and bolts of the program to you and give you a more realistic earnings projection. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is 99 percent of the time or more!

Our television commercials are constantly showing a variety of ways to lose weight. All the products on TV claim to help you lose weight and for it to come off fast. It’s not like any of these companies are going to pay big money for a TV ad and then say their product works slowly or over a long time period. I know some of the fat burners do work quickly and are safe to take for most people. Anyone that is starting a diet for the first time, should check with their doctor first. You never know when you might have a medical problem, where dieting could make it worse. Most of the dieting products on the market are safe to take for most people, but most people isn’t you. So be sure to check with a professional first, before you begin a dieting plan. Then you can focus on which diet pills and fat burners are the most effective ones.

I think a lot of today’s technology for campers has became too much. It seems the more tech-gadgets that come out, the less of an experience the campers are getting with Mother Nature. Some of the sleeping bags now, are like bringing a few mattresses inside your tent. Even the tent has got a lot bigger and some tents can hold up to 10 full grown men in them. Bigger tents and sleeping bags that are as comfortable as a sofa, are just a couple of the things the modern campers are bringing into the woods these days. I usually just take a small sleeping bag and sleep on the ground with no tent. I find this much easier to take down the trails, but most of the modern campers are driving right up to their campsites. I guess they need to be close, when they drag out the radio and TV they plan to hook to an electrical outlet. I just don’t think this is really camping. The thing I like best about camping is the outdoors and surviving off of the land. You don’t have to hunt and kill your own food, but leaving the tech-gadgets at home, would be a little more adventurous. I would only take a cell phone for emergency purposes, but turn it off when you get to your campsite. Go camping and leave the modern technology of the world behind. That’s one of the fun things to look forward to; when you go camping this summer. If you want the comforts from home with you; perhaps you should just stay at home.
