The whole Net has been buzzing about the voice of a 7 year-old child named Rhema Marvanne. Not only does she have a beautiful and powerful voice at such a young age, but she also has the tear-jerking story to go along with it. If you have a free moment right now, take the time to listen to her sing and the story she is spreading also. This video was taken from the Maury Provich Show, an American talk show host, who normally carries a lot of adult oriented topics on his show. He dedicated this hour for some of the amazing talent, some of the kids today have inside of them. The youngest one to appear on the show that day, happened to be Rhema and she did a good job with the gospel song Amazing Grace. Does this talented young singer have a future as a singer? To only be 7 years old and no professional training, I think she has done a great job. I would like to have heard her mother sing, who lost her battle to cancer back in 2008. I’m sure she has implanted her gospel seeds real deep into her daughter and she will carry on her Mom’s legacy for many years to come.
Churches and other non-profit groups can actually get Rhema to sing at their establishments, according to a message that is posted on her online website. I think we will see more videos of her in the future and she will probably have multiple albums out, before she is even a teenager. I’m sure someone down the road will try to walk her down an Elvis Pressley like path, where she will change over from gospel music to pop music or country music. She is from the state of Texas, so either one of these genres of music is possible for the long term future of her singing success. But before anyone tries to make her grow up too fast, it’s nice to listen to her now, as a raw and naturally singing 7 year old kid. Great job Rhema!
