For those of you who want to learn how to master the Rubiks Cube, here is your chance. There is a video on YouTube that helps teach people how to solve the famous cube. I did watch the video and paid attention for the most part, but I didn’t have a Rubik’s Cube in front of me. It would probably help, if you actually have the Cube to play with; while watching this video.

I actually thought I was pretty close in knowing how to solve the colorful cube. Now I’m not so sure. I believe I am more confused than ever. It’s probably good I don’t have a Rubik’s Cube around, or I might be tossing it against a wall about now. I like to solve things and I like a challenge. For some reason, the Rubik’s Cube never did seem like a fun strategy game. Maybe because I never could solve it? Whatever the reason, I don’t think a video is going to help me solve this 1980′s classic toy. I never did take the stickers off of my cube, but I was aware of a few others who did do that. I figured taking the stickers off would mess it up, but I guess you could put them on in any correct pattern and it would be solvable.
What was the most sides you completed? I know I must have gotten two sides right, but I really can’t remember. I know everyone could get 1 side complete. I’m guessing the number gets cut in half for those who can get 2 sides done; when compared to those who can only do 1 side of the Rubik’s Cube. Now being able to get 3 sides correct would take some skill. I’m pretty sure I never did get 3 sides complete and one of the reasons I knew the 4th, 5th, and 6th sides would be tough. Actually, if you can just get 5 sides completed, there would be no need for the 6th side. Since all the unused squares would be left for the 6th side and if 5 was correct; then the 6th side would naturally be a winner too! If I picked up the Rubik’s Cube right now, I seriously doubt I would play with it for 5 minutes. Put me in jail or have a long wait at the doctor’s office and I would be happy to have it. Otherwise, I think my days of trying to solve Rubik’s Cube is over and I believe this video did a good job in pointing that out to me.
