When I Become the CEO of a Company

There are no doubts in my mind, I would probably be the laziest CEO in the world. I would be the one who drove up to the office in the convertible at 11 AM in the morning, to say hi to a few employees, sign a few papers, and back to the car I go with the roof off. I would have some golf clubs in the trunk for a round of golf in the afternoon. After a hot day on the golf course, I would drive down to the docks to take the boat out for a spin and probably cast a few times for a fish in the lake. Around 6 PM I would bring the boat back in, go grab a steak and seafood dinner some where nice, and then back home I would go. I would be sure to act tired and stressed when I arrived home to greet my wife and kids. Yes, I think that would be the perfect day for me, if I was an CEO of a company. I wouldn’t worry about any of the actual business functions of the day. I would hire an employment screening company to find my employees and surround myself with good people, that could run the company without me there. I’m not really sure if the CEO gets to enjoy this type of lifestyle? I may need to be the company president? I guess if I’m gonna dream about days like this, I better just go ahead and make myself the owner and founder of the company. I just hope someone reminds me to watch the CEO of my company and make sure he isn’t pulling up in the late morning hours with his roof down on the convertible, with the golf clubs sticking out!
